According to the booklet Cine DVD (June 2000, sold with Bridge Of Dragons DVD),
Avary would have proposed it to Dolph Lundgren. Roger Avary himself
since confirmed that Dolph wasn't linked to the project even
if the director is also a Lundgren fan that 'd love to work with
him and wrote him a part in R.P.M..
The project (which was in no way connected with the Christophe
Lambert flick) failed anyway due to financing issues.
Could be a good role
of old fashioned warrior for Dolph, in the vein of 13th Warrior!
