MARC S. GRENIER, director

Fascinated with the Internet and computer animation, with a profound passion for technology in general, Marc S. Grenier has made his mark directing commercials over the past 15 years. His distinctive spirit of synthesis and creativity translate into dazzling films that transport the viewer into a vibrant universe of pure simplicity and beauty.

A gifted storyteller, he also excels at directing talent, particularly children, and he is a master at casting the right mood and emotion in order to transform a captivating story into a rich tapestry of memorable scenes.

Marc's spots for Le Cirque du Soleil, Loto-Québec, McDonald's Restaurants and Le Chateau Boutiques have earned critical acclaim, both in the U.S. (Mobius, Batchi, Monitor Awards, Communication Arts Magazine Award, Art Directors Club Award), and in Canada alike (Marketing, TVB Awards, Publicity Club of Montreal).

Subsequent to directing the 1997 short, Souleyad, Marc directed two features - Fatal Affair and Revenge - along with two made-for-TV series - The Happy Castle and Misguided Angels. He co-produced Xchange, a feature film for the HBO network, and he directed two other features entitled Dead of Night, starring Stephen Baldwin, and Hidden Agenda, starring Dolph Lundgren.
